Rob Naples was born in Boston and grew on the south shore in the city of presidents, Quincy, MA. Coming from a blue collar background, the pursuit of a creative career was never taken seriously. He attended Northeastern University and graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy.
In January 1998, Naples found himself in Los Angeles and allowed himself to become immersed in the Independent Film scene. He began exploring the limits of emerging digital technology and with friends, produced, shot & edited his first film. Since then, he's worked his way through jobs from crew to producer, settling on photography.
In the last 5 years you could find Rob touring with bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Rancid all over the world. The first book featuring his photographs was released in 2008 with Rancid's last album, Let The Dominoes Fall. SInce then, Rob continues to tour and has opened a studio in The American Cement Building on the west side of downtown Los Angeles.
